The Semi-Supervillains are a self-proclaimed garage rock/power-pop outlet residing in Pittsburgh, PA. Don't let their suburban front fool you, these cats can rock. The Semi-Supervillains are know as the Pittsburgh Pirates "Friday Night Rocks" band having their music video televised on Root Sports before the first pitch of Friday night games. These garage rockers have shared the stage with the likes of Foxy Shazam, the Black Angels, Blitzen Trapper and Living Colour to name a few. 

In March 2016, the villains attended SXSW in Austin, TX notably making appearances on MTV and with Jam in the Van at the GQ Magazine Artist House. The Semi-Supervillains released an indie/acoustic EP titled "Southwest" in April 2016. Southwest was recorded entirely Studio M in Austin, TX featuring Vinnie Longhi and Forrest Mance. 

The band's release titled Here Comes Trouble is a follow up to their 2013 debut full-length Tricks. Here Comes Trouble features the musical talents of brothers Vinnie & Nick Longhi, Cory Caruso (Rusted Root) and John Pennacchio and was produced and mastered by Rick Witkowski at Studio L and Jay Dudt at Audible Images respectively. 

In summer 2015, the band toured regionally and internationally through Canada including Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. The band has been performing on the regional festival circuit scoring some prime slots on the Strip District Music Fest and the main stage of the Deutschtown Music Festival.

The blues rock influenced power-pop quartet has recently received high honors in the local music industry, winning the 2014 PennRock Scholarship, 2014 Weirton Band Blast, and performing live on the 102.5 WDVE Coffeehouse with Randy Baumann. Additionally, the band is having their single "Learned My Lesson" featured during Pittsburgh Pirates telecasts on Root Sports. The Saturday Light Brigade

Saturday morning October 1, 2016 Semi-Supervillains were the special guests in the 11 o'clock hour for The Saturday Light Brigade performing acoustic songs off a new EP titled "Southwest." 

Saturday Light Brigade is a live radio show broadcasted from Pittsburgh Children's Museum and syndicated to WCUC FM, WIUP FM, WMCO FM, WNJR FM. WRCT FM, WSAJ FM.  Not to worry, you can listen to the archived acoustic performance/interview with this link:

As part of this session the band talked about a cross country trip and extended stay in Georgetown, TX which ultimately lead to the recording of the new EP appropriately coined "Southwest." 

Wigle Whiskey Saturday October 29th

Performing at the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse on the northside of Pittsburgh from 7-9pm. This will be an outdoor all ages event.
